Just been told by Councillor Philip Eden that the latest date for City of Ely Council Clerk to receive revised plans from County Highways is 18 July, if it is to be discussed at the next City council meeting.

Spoke to Councillor Philip Eden - City of Ely Council, who was one of two councillors to attend the Downham Road site meeting with John Richards, County Highways in January 2006. He explained to me the suggestions/comments that they had made concerning the existing plans.

He is in full agreement with are improvement and approach and thinks it should be possible to get revised plans approved at 24 July 2006 City of Ely Council.

Received a Copy of the existing plans from Tracey Coulson - Clerk on Thursday 22 June 2006. There is an opportunity for The City of Ely Council to approve the revised version of the traffic calming engineering measure at their meeting on the 24 July 2006 - if they receive the plans from John Richards - County Highways before hand.
